under_construction
hello! i’m Shen, an ancient and mysterious web developer from Planet Earth who wants everything back the way it was...
welcome to my World!
about this site:
Shen’s World is my own, personal web site. hand-coded by: me, Shen. using: html, css, and a sprinkling of javascript. (in a previous life i was a professional computer programmer based in
, but that’s another story...)
- this site is built with (some) responsive stylesheets, so should work relatively well in any (modern) web browser at any (common) screen resolution
(although, to be fair, i haven't spent that much time testing it.) - pretty much everything here is “work in progress” and i make a lot of
untestedlive edits, so please expect things to beugly, buggy, broken, unfinished and to change (or not to change) at any given moment. - i dont use a pre-built template, and the layout across pages is
bound to be wildly inconsistentintended to vary. - the coding style on this site

is a bit haphazard because i tend to just slap a load of inline code wherever it works and rarely go back to organise it properlyfavours flexibility and freedom of expression over consistency and reusability. - if you look at any of my code or content for inspiration, keep in mind that i never said any of it was good, or of any interest to anyone except myself.
when you get lostfor a brief overview of pages, see the sitemap.because to be frank, theres no real site-wide navigation.- i use neocities to host my web site ad-free. create your own! (see my bookmarks for web design tutorials and resources.)
no ai is used to make this web site. after all, building it myself is the whole point of doing it.
